BVW T-Shirt Design
The T-shirt design was created for the BVW (Building Virtual World) course festival.
Students and instructors wore this T-shirt and showed their games on the festival day at the end of the semester.

Rough Sketch

Building Virtual World (BVW) is a course dedicated to embracing failure, taking creative risks, and exploring game creation. The fifth-floor workstations, arranged with cosmic elements, inspired me to depict an astronaut journeying through space—symbolizing our spirit of constant exploration. I created four initial drafts emphasizing clear line work, minimal empty space, and a prominent “BVW 2023” label. The top-right design was ruled out for having too much empty space, and the top-left for being too similar to a previous festival poster. After comparing the remaining two concepts, I chose the bottom-right version for its vibrant energy, which best captures the adventurous essence of BVW while showcasing the event’s signature typography.
Color Test
As the design theme is space exploration, I originally wanted navy blue as the background color, but after a student vote, light pink was chosen.
